BE CAREFUL ! SOME POST OFFICES DO NOT KNOW ABOUT THESE PREPAID ENVELOPES , THIS COMES FROM A RECENT EMAIL :
Our post office ( we are in a rather rural area ) was unaware of the prepaid global priority bags and had no lesser expensive suggestions for me except for surface mail which could take several weeks to deliver . I considered calling the number listed , but I didn't want to delay shipping your item while I waited for the postal service to send me the bag . I just sent the package by air mail , in a box . I appreciate your help just the same . You have been very nice to work with .

PACKAGING : Please wrap each item in paper or plastic shopping bag etc to stop movement , scratching or scuffing and cover any sharp edges which may cut into other items or the box or envelope . Internal movement can be stopped by stapling the sealed envelope , filling boxes with foam etc . Externally tape USPS envelope flaps and the whole envelope if the item weighs over one pound . Delicate items can be wrapped in bubble wrap ,
or sponge cloth , 
tightly taped and cardboard ( extending beyond the item ) placed around the bubble wrap and taped . ( Cardboard shipping tubes can also be cut down to suit . ) Generally there will be something lying around that can be used for packaging . This method works well with the cardboard and plastic PREPAID USPS GLOBAL envelopes .

A PAIR OF SUNGLASSES HAS BEEN SENT BY SURFACE MAIL WHEN THE SELLER WAS PAID FOR AIR . IT IS NOW OVER 60 DAYS SINCE THE AUCTION AND OUTSIDE THE EBAY INSURANCE CLAIM PERIOD .
A CAMERA , WHICH HAD OBVIOUSLY BEEN DROPPED , HAD FUNGUS IN THE LENS AND THE SHUTTER STUCK ON 1/125 WAS RECEIVED . THIS WAS LET GO BECAUSE THE LAST TWO FAULTS MAY NOT HAVE BEEN KNOWN TO THE SELLER .
A CAMERA LENS WAS PACKED IN 3 BOXES , INSIDE OF EACH OTHER , MORE LIKE MILITARY SPECIFICATION PACKAGING FOR LONG TERM STORAGE . SHIPPING WAS ALMOST $20 . THE LENS WAS DAMAGED AND BOUGHT FOR PARTS !
SEVERAL ITEMS HAVE BEEN SENT LOOSE INSIDE BOXES , WITH NO INTERNAL PACKAGING - NOT EVEN CRUMPLED NEWSPAPER .
OUR RESPONSE TO INAPPROPRIATE FEEDBACK IS MEASURED , BUT DIRECT , PARTICULARLY WHERE THE SELLER HAS " AMBUSHED " US USING A FEEDBACK FORUM . SO FAR THERE HAVE BEEN A FEW ( 2 ) CASES OF THIS RELATING TO " WILL SHIP TO USA ONLY " AND MAIL DELAYS . WE DO HAVE A US POSTAL ADDRESS AND CAN NOT REASONABLY BE HELD LIABLE FOR POSTAL DELAYS ( WHICH HAVE ONLY HAPPENED WITH MAIL TO THE US , SO FAR NO DELAYS WITH OTHER COUNTRIES ) . ANOTHER CASE ( WITH NO FEEDBACK INVOLVED ) CONCERNS A REGISTERED AIR MAIL LETTER SENT TO A NEW YORK CITY POST OFFICE BOX , WHICH THE SELLER CLAIMED TOOK OVER 2 WEEKS TO ARRIVE . WE HAVE LAUNCHED A FORMAL INVESTIGATION WITH AUSTRALIA POST , SO FAR THE SELLER HAS REFUSED TO TAKE PART IN THIS INVESTIGATION .
