INAPPROPRIATE AUCTION FEEDBACK
So far there have only been two cases of this happening and the aim of this page is to state the facts and , hopefully , put a stop to it . We particularly object to questionable feedback being posted without prior communication .
Firstly , we make available the option of shipping to a US address , if all else fails . We are obliged to do this , it involves extra work , costs and delays the final receipt of the item .
All details of our transactions are confirmed before the payment is sent . This includes the shipping method and cost . We cannot be responsible for increased costs if the seller unilaterally chooses to use another method !

The negative inferences to being located in Australia are grating at a time when thousands of Australian troops are in the Middle East preparing to fight a US lead War against Iraq .

The item , a camera back , measuring 7 1/2 x 5 3/4 x 2 ins ( which would fit in $9 USPS Global Envelope , as agreed ) was sent by air mail in a box measuring 13 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 6 ins , costing $18.75 .
The enclosed handwritten note ( 1/2/03 ) says :
" Thanks Sam !

As with the first case , the shipping details were confirmed with the seller . The agreed amount was sent by air mail and contained three American Express Travellers Cheques dated 9 January , 2003 , which was 2 days after the auction closed . When the letter went " missing " the details were confirmed twice . The seller has not even bothered to look at the dates on the Travellers Cheques or the postmark before posting the above comment . Our last email to the seller reads :

The envelope had our return address on the back and has not been returned as of today .
I have received or had dispatch advices for all of the items paid for at the same time , except for one , which was being sent by surface mail . I am afraid that is all that I have , I can start the ball rolling with Amex tomorrow to see if the checks sent to you have been cashed .
