The Last Day of Christmas
On the twelfth day of Christmas, let's review what we have used:
Twelve swats with the Black Paddle
This beauty is no joke. Long, light, easy to swing and yet so painful. We'll have to rest after twelve with this baby!
Eleven swats with the long wooden spoon
This can be rough or gentle depending on the mood of the swinger. Don't be fooled by it's small size! All the mass is at the end and it can welt up a tail as well as a cane if used properly.
Ten swats with the rattan cane
The classic cane. Nice stripes and lots of ouches. Another chance to rub Invidia's but in preparation for...
Nine swats from the strap
As I've mentioned, this thing has thud, sting, and conforms to the 'surface' to provide maximum area of attack.
Eight swats from the light paddle
It looks like a joke and weights almost nothing. But it has a ton of sting and makes a heck of a racket.
Seven swats from TheBoss's hand
What could be more basic than this. I tend to swing hard and fast, but there's plenty of time for rubs and petting here too.
Six swats from the riding crop
Invidia told me recently this is one of her favorite toys. We're both not sure why, but it has a touch of sting and no long-lasting pain.
Five swats with the leather belt
Surprisingly gentle, it's like the strap's baby brother. More petting in preparation for the final four.
Four swats from the hairbrush
Four ouches. Stings like the dickens, but not as much as...
Three swats with the 'Board of Education'
This thing puts the 'hard' into 'hardwood'. It's dense and completely unforgiving.
Two swats with the short bath brush
For some reason, bath brushes, both long and short, hurt worse than anything else in the arsenal. Perhaps it's the weighting at the end? Regardless, one doesn't soon forget the feel of one!
And one swat with the Purple Cane
And so comes to end another year. There's no way to soften the blow of the cane, not this cane, anyway!
